– Ensuring the operation of our central data center infrastructure in Germany, Austria and Romania
– Monitoring, analysis and further development of our complex VMware server landscape
– Installation, configuration and maintenance of VMware Hosts and related infrastructure components, such as network and storage
– You will act as an interface between our customers and their colleagues in 3rd level support
– You will support the administration of the data center management tools and management systems on Windows and Linux basis
– Successfully completed studies as an IT specialist or equivalent
– Experience in the administration of a virtualized environment based on VMware (> 10 hardware hosts).
– Expertise in server and client virtualization as well as storage – ideally corresponding certifications like vmware certified professional (VCP) certificate would be excellent.
– First experiences with firewall products and knowledge in the field of backup – ideally with veeam backup solutions
– Conceptual strength, independence and customer orientation
– Secure appearance, teamwork and flexibility
– Good command of spoken and written English. German language skills would be excellent.
